A reasoned response to my political rant
Evidently, a local citizen does not entirely agree with my views as expressed in my letter to the editors of the Ann Arbor News. This evening, I found a envelope in my mailbox, lying on the bottom under the rest of the mail with an un-postmarked stamp taped to it (suggesting the sender actually took the trouble to visit my home). He was kind enough to give me an extra clipping of my letter. I scanned his note, and have tried to reproduce all his spelling and punctuation exactly. I have added descriptive notes in parentheses. Charmingly, the letter was typed, not word-processed. It was signed with an illustration, and as soon as aol lets me, I will upload it and link to it. I am placing the text of he note behind a cut because of length and offensive language.
Faggott-
Massachusetts a very liberal state at best would support faggott marriage, those liberal bias ass-holes are alike you 100% , if Michigan lowers it's self to your level, I just might move to Australia, you faggotts wont be happy until you corrupt all you can.

I wonder if Australia is his location of choice because he heard the Monty Python "No Poufter's" sketch?
I consider the threats to be akin to the pain from the needle stick when giving blood. A tiny inconvenience that gives me the illusion of having courage. For that reason, I will always treasure this little missive--it's going straight to my scrapbook.
Though I think I will try to be a little better about keeping my door locked for the next week or two.
